The food was excellent I have to say. But I wouldn't go back for the simple reason they are WAY overpriced. Elias Corner in Astoria is just as good, but much cheaper.

I do not usually post reviews but I felt it only fair to share my experience. Although I enjoyed the company, I felt bad that my guests were aggravated and hungry. Nevertheless, I was determined to go with the flow. However, one of my friends had to catch a train so I decided to bring it to the host’s attention that it took us 50 minutes for someone to take our order and now we had already waited another 30 for our salads. I calmly asked if he knew when the food was coming. At this point, he actually raised his voice (and his hand) and said: “Go sit down!” I was so shocked that I could not say anything for a second. I think I was in denial because I again, even nicer this time, tried to calmly explain that one of my friends needed to leave and we just wanted to know if her food was on the way. To this, he raised his hand again, pointed to my table and told me to sit down. I was completely embarrassed and my feelings were hurt to top it off.

The Manhattan east side location is SO overrated. You're better off killing your own lamb than spend your hard earned money here. very over priced for below average food.
