Great Go To restaurant
By PrincessNY on 3/2/2013
Must have the Pear, Gorgonzola Truffle pizza, and Carpaccio, Fried Seafood for starters. Steak and seafood are always quality dishes. No room for dessert! Bar area is usually too noisy so sit in main dining room. Big restaurant and ample comfortable seating. Most staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Great drinks and free food

I came in during happy hour and was impressed with the drinks and the crowd. They also offer free pizza and meatballs with your drinks, for free!!!

We love the pear and gorgonzola pizza! I'll keep going back just for that. Thin crust, very tasty. Although this is not a pizza parlor and this pizza is just an appetizer, it is so impressive that I would make it my meal. The rest of the food is good, too and we'll go back to try something different. The place is huge and crowded during the weekend. I'll try and go back weekdays for a romantic dinner. Thumbs up for the pizza and for the place.

We have been frequenting this place for a couple years, being in the neighborhood. What i have noticed is that the food and waitstaff has definitely gone way down hill. My fiance and I ate last night (sunday evening) and were the only ones in the place at 7:30. With many waistaff floating around, i would assume the service would be great. It wasn't. It was as though they forgot we were there. The portions were smaller than I remember. My fiance got the roast chicken which was VERY over-done, and only came with about 4 tiny pieces of potato. My fish was also dry and the side veggie was very small. Too much money for such small portions and bad food. I was so unsatisfied with this once great place. Will not be going back.
Best service, lovely time, beautiful spot

My friend and I walked away from Cinque saying that it was the best service we'd received in a very long time. The bus boys know not to clear the plates until everyone was finished with their meal (an annoying rarity) and our waiter was charming and funny (not to mention his Italian accent and gorgeous smile had my single girlfriend swooning). The margarita pizza was very good, but the lobster bisque was truly amazing. Served up, of course, with delicious warm crusty bread. I highly recommend it.
Worst service ever

I went there for Brunch with my children, 6 and 4. While returning from the bathroom, we were shocked to see that our table has been entirely cleaned up. We have not paid yet, did not even get the bill ! I asked for our bill and the food my children had not yet eaten. While I am sitting at what was our table, waiting TO PAY, they are bringing new customers to be seated ! Unrreal. The place is huge and there were a lot of empty tables. Safe to say that we will never return. It is a shame as the setting is nice and we live close by. Food was average, on the greasy side. I guess they mean to cater to corporate events. With all the great places in TriBeCa, stay away from this one !
This is called YES!

Go. Split a pizza and the ribeye, and order the bottle of the montepulciano. This is an AMAZING deal! And tastes soo good!
good food, fun times

I have been to Cinque twice in the short time since it opened, and everyone walked out with smiles both times. The food is tasty (highlights: pear and gorganzola pizza, lasagna, bucatini...and cocktails!) and the service is outstanding. It has a good energy...lively but relaxed...probably better for groups or double dates than a romantic one-on-one. A really great addition to the neighborhood...I will go back!
