Went with friends during restaurant week. We all ordered off the prix fixe menu - $35 got you an appetizer, an entree, and dessert. A bit pricey, but overall a very nice restaurant.

Every time we're in the City, we go to Trattoria dell'Arte. We never get tired of the fabulous food, convenient location, and interesting clientele.

This apparent modest trattoria actually has the highest quality food, albeit at high prices. The overall package of food, location, ambience is wonderful and it is a perfect pre-Carnegie concert spot, but reserve early.

Great after theatre spot. Wonderful variety at antipasti bar. Take your pick or have the waiter fix a nice plate for you. Good seafood selection, and nice wine selection.

This is one of those places people remember and it's apt to be crowded. It's a pleaser for tourists and New Yorkers alike, nothing extraordinary but eminently reliable. It's costly; plan to spend around $65 for dinner. It's large and you're greeted by an enormous table of cold antipasto, which you can hand pick and eat as an appetizer or main course. To me things tend to taste a bit less grand than they look. The veal parmigiana is almost as big as the antipasto table and is nicely done. It's a large menu, an easy place for a large group. If weather is good and you have time, this works as a pre-theater spot.
