I went there with a bunch of my friends. Everything was great from the beautiful smiles of the waitress to the dessert though I thought it was a bit expensive since I'm a poor student. PS) Especially, go for Bruch and don't forget to try desserts.

I went for brunch with a friend. It's a nice place to go, decent foor, and complimentary Sangrias with your meal for those of you who want to keep last night going. Overall, a fine place with friendly/hospitable service. I would definitely go back sometime, probably.

i hear that this place used to be pretty good when it opened, but i can tell you for sure it sucks now. management switch up? new owner? cook stopped going to AA? who knows. the back room is huge and decorated like a dining room at Circus-Circus. dopey as hell. and empty as hell -- out of like 40 tables, it was only us and three other people. service? crappy. waiter seriously acted put out to be bothered with any sort of table service. silverware and napkins came out 5 minutes after our food did. while the waiter had no enthusiasm for our table, he did show plenty of enthusiasm for watching TV with some of the other staff in the bar. also, once they finished with the TV, they put on some really bad music -- loudly. the kind of junk you hear in an Apple commercial. read up and you'll find that there's an awful lot of really good restaurants in williamsburg -- there's no need to waste your time with this one. p.s. note to the restaurant: having the waitstaff take a shower before reporting for "work" could be a nice touch.

I've lived in the area for years and have seen this restaurant go through many ups and downs. When it first opened years ago, people were waiting in lines out the doors to get in! But over the last few years it has slowly lost business. It seems to me whatever reason the place lost clientel has become completely null and void, the food has never been better! The brick oven pizzas are incredible, one of a kind. Sunlit front dining room seemed perfect for brunch. I dined there last week with a couple girlfriends and my brother. The N. 6th ( a rib version of a philly cheese steak) was excellant.. I shared the 1/2 roasted chicken and a pear and walnut salad with my friend and it was delicious. perfect portions. I think my other friend got the Kent pizza? she definately took home what she didn't finish. It seems crazy this place doesn't get more business. Reasonable prices for the quality of food.

Service is OK but food is so terrible (and not so cheap) that even the nice decor doesn't save the place...

We had more than 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon to take in the atmosphere, architecture and decor, while we waited for our food. Though our wait was extremely wrong, our server and a manager repeatedly checked on us and apologized for the long delay, caused by a printer glitch. The way they handled us during an embarassing service situation was steller and made the wait seem much less than it actually was. We started with a breakfast pizza - scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese on pizza crust - and it was absolutely delcious and innovative as well. Our main courses were a little less inspired. My burger was cooked exactly how I asked for it and was a substantial and tasty meal, though the french fries were a little undercooked. My girfriend had an omlette which she said was good, though kind of a let down after the awesomeness of the breakfast pizza. Depsite the wait, we will go back and look forward to exploring the menu more deeply knowing that there must be some more inspired and unique dishes on it.

WOW, HOW DISSAPOINTING CAN ONE PLACE BE? THE SERVICE ...WE WAITED NEARLY TWENTY MINUTES FOR WATER DURING LUNCH,AND THERE WERE JUST TWO OTHE R TABLES, SHOULD HAVE LEFT THEN BUT WE WERE HUNGRY. I HAD A PIZZA MARGARITE OF SORTS. IN-EDIBLE CRUST ,TASTLESS TOPPING AND JUST NOT VERY GOOD, MY DATE WAS A BIT MORE ADVENTUROUS AND HAD A PIZZA WITH SHRIMP ,ASPARAGUS AND CHERRY TOMATOES ..HORRIBLE THE CRUST WAS FLOPPY AND NEAR WHITE IN COLOR. CANT BE A REAL OVEN, MUST BE GAS . MY FREIND HAD THE FRESH CHILI SQUID SALAD, SOUNDED MUCH BETTER THEN IT TASTED ...I HATE CHEWY CHEWY SQUID ,HIS DATE HAD THE NORTH 4TH SANDWICH..THIS WAS THE BEST ITEM ORDERED A VERY GOOD SANDWICH. ALL IN ALL I WILL NOT GO BACK.BAD SERVICE OVERPRICED AND JUST NOT GOOD. I DO AGREE THE BACK ROOM IS COOL.
