For several months, Zero Otto Nove has been our go-to restaurant whenever friends visited us in the Bronx. Granted, the prices were a little high and the service was WAY too aggressive, but the food was great and the ambiance was fantastic. The last time we went, though, the waiter stuck us with a $315 bottle of wine, instead of the $36 bottle we ordered. The manager wouldn't work with us, the owner couldn't be reached, and we ended up getting skinned for the big bottle. The whole thing was skeavy. They gained a quick payday, but lost some regular customers. Great food, but there are times when the service is so bad that it kills everything else. This is one of those times.

Took my family to Zero Otto - everything is a la carte - portions so small they look like appetizers - would never go back - left hungry and the bill was almost $200 - the waiters hover over you and take your food away before you are finished - maybe, because there are at least 8 of them staring at you every minute. Food was fresh and very good just not enough of it and too expensive for my purse.

I had to write a review after seeing that there was no mention of the excellent entrees in the description or other reviews. I have been here many times and always had a good meal. Not a typical "Arthur Avenue" dining spot -- it is more sophisticated and less of a value -- but a good meal with easy parking and it is a pretty place. I actually have not even had pizza -- the fish and steaks are always good and the bar makes good drinks.

The pizza at Zero Otto Nove never seems to disappoint. I've been here several times and this is very much like the Pizza that is served in Italy. Went to the famed Patsy's very recently and enjoyed their pizza as well. But I must say that Roberto's pizza wins, hands down.
