My experience was very similar to Laura 22's except more costly :(. The only thing more outrageous than their prices is their attitude. Never in my life have I ever been dealth with so obnoxious & rudly. They were curt, attitudious, and downright rude! To top it all off, after paying more to repair the item than it cost originally, the work was not done properly - and it is quite obvious where the repair was done when you take even a quick glance at it! Never again will I be giving any of my business to them.

I took an orange leather handbag in for basic conditioning and removal of some small stains. They told me that they would have to strip the bag and then refinish it with the same color; this would cost me $175. When I received the finished bag, the color was much more bright and garish than the original. And THEN, after a few weeks the color starting peeling off. So I basically paid $175, to have my $500 bag ruined. I am afraid to go back.

I bought a 1977 styled leather jacket about a year ago online. I got it in the mail expecting it to fit real tight and little like most punk jackets do. When I tried it on, I found that the whole arm length and under the arms were pretty baggy looking, but the waist of the jacket fit and zipped fine (a bit strange looking since I'm a girl and it's boy jacket.) I wore it for a while, but finally got around to looking into leather restorers in the city about a month ago. I stopped by a few places before I finally found Superior Leather Restorers. They were the only place I found that said they could fix the jacket. They measured me and clipped up the jacket arms and marked the rest to my size(the whole arm length tighter with clips, marked the shoulder fold higher because it was too far down on my arms, and even marked the top sides of the jacket). When I originally picked it up about two weeks later, the arms were way too tight, nearly cutting off my circulation. I got really scared because I figured they couldn't go back and undo the cutting and resizing, but they insisted not to worry, that they could fix it and to pick it up around the same time the next day. I went back the next day and it was absolutely perfect. They are incredible. I'm definitely going back for some other stuff I need done and recommend anybody to trust any leather restoration or custom fitting to them. They're the best!!

The four corners of a beloved handbag were worn completely away. When I took the handbag to Coach, where I had bought it years ago, I was told it was unfixable. Upon seeing my aghast face, the Coach salesperson took pity on me and said, "Well, you can try Superior Leather. They're good." So off to Superior Leather I went, and two weeks later my handbag is as good as new. They're the best! Plus, they have an adorable little dog who greets you and offers sweet kisses while you wait :-)
