If you are looking for a personalized, one on one experience, then Wedding Ring Originals is a must. We stumbled upon this gem while shopping for engagement rings. We were greeted by Mel and his wife Sophia, and then were taken through a complete education of what was available according to my likes and dislikes. I was looking for something unique which Mel has to offer, but he can create any design to your liking. It's so refreshing to receive such incredible service, but also to know that we will be doing business with Mel for the rest of our lives together. Thank you!

I have been doing business with Mel for over 6 years. He has helped me and my wife with all of our jewelery needs. He is very curtious and provides customers with the information they need to make an informed decision. Mel's prices are very fair and he stands behind all of his products. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Wedding Rings Originals and we will continue to do business with them! A+ experience.

A complete disaster. We bought my wedding ring there and my husbandÂ’s ring at TiffanyÂ’s. Now I wish IÂ’d stuck with TiffanyÂ’s! Despite meeting with Mel numerous times, he never remembered who we were or what we had purchased. They 'lost' the expensive wedding band we bought... twice. It took them weeks to engrave it. When it was finally ready (three days before the wedding), we discovered they had engraved it with the wrong initials! They said there was no way to fix it in time. No apology. When we brought the ring back to be fixed, Mel gave us the run around: It would be ready in a week, then three weeks, etc. We finally got it back (three months after we first bought it) and the engraving is a disaster. Illegible, messy and unprofessional. They said there is nothing more than can do about it and to just deal with it. And again, no apology. So unless you want to be disappointed with purchasing an important piece of jewelry, avoid Wedding Ring Originals like the plague. Go to TiffanyÂ’s - they wonÂ’t loose your ring or engrave it incorrectly.

I was looking for a mens wedding band for my upcoming wedding for the last 3 months and was about to settle on a generic wedding at my local mall but after seeing their website I decided to give getting a unique ring one more shot and Im glad I did. I met Bernie at his store and he had an amazing amount of designs including a lot from Christian Bauer whos design I liked and many of them very unique. He knew everything about all the rings and gave us a great education about jewelry that only 40 years of being in the business can provide. After showing us different designs for over an hour, I ended up with a custom made christian bauer ring that is very unique and I am very happy with. I'll be sure to use him again for future purchases. Thanks Bernie!

When you shop at Wedding Ring Originals you will definitely think you went to heaven. Mel K., owner and manager, is not only an extremely knowledgeable resource for any jewelry shopper, but he is also the most caring personal-touch salesperson I have dealt with in ages. I just love the creativeness and resourcefulness of this man. He turned my mom's old jewelry into heirlooms (and there wasn't much to work with). On the other hand, my sister-in-law bought the most magnificent significant engagement ring and still receives compliments from everyone, including total strangers, after nearly five years. That’s why I went to Mel and you should too.

Terrible place. I had a hugely disappointing experience at "Wedding Ring Originals" (followed by a great experience at Frank Pollak, who I highly recommend). I ordered a nice floral design wedding band. The sample was really well done and didn't have any seams or breaks in the pattern. When I received mine, it had a big awkward seam. My husband said it looks like something I could have bought on St. Marks Place for $20. To make matters worse, it was the wrong size. The salesperson admitted that it was made too small, until Mel (the owner of "Wedding Ring Originals") overruled her and said actually it was my fault because I didn't specify that I wanted a "center" size. What does that even mean? They measured my finger and knew the size to order for me. Overpriced, subpar.

December, 2008: Mel and the team were terrific at helping me create a unique, one of a kind ring for my wife to commemorate the 10th anniversary of our first date. I found the value, service and over all experience at Wedding Ring Originals to be outstanding and I whole heartedly endorse them.

Engagement and Wedding Rings

We had the pleasure to work with Mel over a year ago. Having both been married before we were looking for unique and original rings. My engagement ring is a stunning radiant cut yellow diamond set in a original setting of diamond flowers. It was designed specifically for us and our wedding bands are also beautiful and well made. We have never seen another ring as beautiful or original. Anyone can pick something they like out of a magazine only to see the same design everywhere and on everyone but to have someone work with you to put together something made just for you is an experience to truly remember and treasure. A year later we walked in to have Mel smile, shake our hands and remember us. Thank you for making a new life together sealed with rings truly beautiful. Thanks - G&L
