I went for alterations to my dress. Not only did the price of the service get raised twice without my approval, but once I got the dress home some of the stitching was already starting to come undone. Maryann had a lot of attitude about altering a gown she didn't make, and kept blaming every flaw in their alterations on the "low quality" of my already-purchased wedding dress. At my first appointment, scheduled on the phone the day before, she forgot to show up on time. Rather than apologizing for not being able to manage her own schedule, she kept lecturing me that I really should have made an appointment before showing up. On subsequent appointments I had to stand in front of the store for at least 5 minutes, calling or ringing the front bell to get someone's attention. Definitely not worth the time, money or hassle.

I have no idea how this place stays in business. I have been trying since january to get a deposit on a bridesmaid dress that was never ordered. maryann is the worst person i have ever dealt with. She hangs up on people, doesnt return phone calls, she just takes peoples money. karma my friend.

I should have written this earlier to help the other innocent brides, but I trusted Gina/Adrienne's would do the right thing, but they have not. When I finally got "my dress" the DAY BEFORE my wedding in Sept. I was shocked to find it was NOT the dress they supposedly ordered for me from Watters!!!! It was a disgusting imposter dress that had been sown together in their BASEMENT - combining 2 used dirty dresses into one. It was the wrong color (cream & DINGY as opposed to bright white), the lace was different, the ruffles were disproportional, I could go on & on, but everything about it was fake. Gina has still not refunded me the $ like she said she would when she admitted guilt to Watters. The replacement dress I had to order did not fit me perfectly and I will forever be upset by my wedding pictures with the ill fitting dress (I didn't wear the awful one she sent - had to have a new one overnighted!!!). She ruined my day & I don't know who would do this to anyone on their wedding day. If you want more details about this horrendous experience I'd be happy to fill you in over email or the phone - email@example.com Please for your own good do not step foot in this store.

I always knew that I wouldn't be a typical bride - in the sense that I don't really care about the venue, the food, the number of guests, the decor and what not. There was ONE thing I really cared about after the identity of the groom (a great guy, not to worry) and my friends coming to the wedding - THE DRESS. I wanted a perfect dress and I wanted to look really fabulous for that one day. Adriennes Bridal Salon and its team took that away from me - they yelled at me, blamed me for everything that was wrong with the dress (and oh lord - there was something wrong with the dress) and practically kicked me out with the dress after the final fitting. The dress is now hanging in my closet. I can't even look at it. I'll get over it, it's just a dress... but it is my wedding dress. I hope I don't have to get married again but if I do, at least I'll be able to enjoy a new wedding dress experience. DO NOT COME ANYWHERE NEAR THIS STORE!!!

Why oh why did I not read the reviews here first?!? I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from here in September only to find out in November that they were ignoring phone calls from my bridesmaids who were trying to provide sizes and payment info!! Needless to say I cancelled before it could get any worse but I'm still fighting with them to get my refund! This place is ridiculous. I'm only glad I found out early enough to undo the damage.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Adriennes in Feb. for an early Sept. wedding. I was not a good experience. They miss ordered one of my bridesmaid dresses. When I called, I found out about this mistake. They said they were going to correct it and the dress would arrive by the next month. I trusted what they said. I called back in a month. It was NEVER re-ordered. The dress finally arrived, a month before the wedding. I asked the store to check that it matched the other dresses. Adriennes told me it was a perfect match. At the wedding, it was a mismatch. It stood out and was apparent to guests and in my pictures. I was extremely upset that they lied to me and would send that dress to my bridesmaid. Seeing pictures, I am even more disappointed. Each of my bridesmaids ordered a different dress within a collection. Three of the dresses were an alternative color. The person at the bridesmaid store was rude and unhelpful. The owner did come in and offered to rework the dresses so they all match. It was done free of charge, but was an aggravating and stressful situation

I ordered my wedding dress from Adrienne's in April for a Sept. wedding. I live in the Hamptons. They told me it would be in on such & such date so I drove 3 hours from Sag Harbor to the LES only to be told it was not in the store yet!!!! I went for 3 fittings and when I drove back in for the final which was supposed to only be a pick up of the dress it was not ready. Gina told me to go to dinner & it would be done in less than 2 hours. I drove back to the LES & she said she needed another hour & a half. This was 10pm so I was forced to drive 3 hours home without it. That was Thurs. & this is Tues. and they don't answer their phone. Finally I got them & they said they'd bring it to the best man's apt today. It is still not there & again they don't answer. So I'd say their pathetic service speaks for itself. Don't trust them.

I had a very different experience than the people who've written negative things here. First of all, there are two Adriennes stores in Manhattan: one is a bridesmaids boutique, on the west side of Orchard Street; the other is the Adriennes Bridal store, which is the subject of this listing. The people who have a beef with the bridesmaids store didn't shop in Adriennes-Adriennes, apparently? Anyway, I never met anyone named MaryAnn, and I had maybe seven or eight prolonged visits over the last few months. The owner of Adriennes-Adriennes is Gina DeSilva -- not mentioned in any of the negative reviews -- and she designs really pretty, very cool dresses for downtown girls who don't want cheesy bridal-factory monstrosities. Gina did a fab job designing and custom fitting my wedding dress. Very chic, very friendly, no real issues. Maybe the place doesn't run like a ticking Austrian wrist-watch ... but it's an excellent neighborhood choice if you want something chic and different. It was also half the cost of my second choice (at Kleinfelds; now that place is a rip-off, and THOSE dresses are sewn in factories in China!).

i highly recommend NOT going to adrienne's for bridesmaid dresses. very disorganized, unprofessional and a huge headache!!!! maryann, the owner was the least helpful person i have ever experienced. i stood in my dress asking for advice and she gave me one word answers as she was stumbling through paperwork and calling brides to let them know they messed up. i am telling all of my newly engaged friends NOT to go to adrienne's- you should take my advice too!

My experience with Adriennes was awful. I ordered 6 Vera Wang bridesmaid dresses from there and the Owner, Maryann Greco, messed up the alterations on 4 of them. Not only did we have to go back 5 different times for her to fix them 4 days before the wedding, but she was not going to honor the cap on the alterations per our contract. After arguing with her and telling her I was going to take them some where else, then she said she would honor it. Maryann Greco's (the owner) customer service skills are unprofessional to say the least and I will never go there again.
