Very satisfied, purchased 4 bespoke shirts, they came in on time and fit exquisitely-hassle free.

Happy start to my marriage

My dad shopped at Alan David and when it was time for my wedding I had myself and 7 groomsmen. As a present I was going to purchase all 7 of them tuxedos. I made the rounds, checked out Men's Warehouse and Joseph banks but I really did not get the good feel that they would be able to nail the fit. My dad suggested (hinted and hinted) and I finally agreed. Right away when I walked in I could tell this was going to be an entirely different experience. All the salespeople were well dressed and well versed with all the topics I had researched. I had my initial consultation with the owner Alan, who walked me through the construction of the garment from A to Z. I had no idea there were so many important measurements like button stance, lapel width, front jacket length, finished bicep and a dizzying amount of others. I left to think it over but the one thing that pushed me over is he seemed to really care and practically begged me that no matter where I ended up to not trust it to just anybody. While he stopped short of recommending anybody else, he earned my trust. A few weeks later, after visiting a number of other tailors, I returned. Alan arranged to open on Sunday and had wine and crackers and other refreshments for my groomsmen. It took about 45 minutes to measure each guy. There were a crazy amount of measurements. About 4 weeks later the tuxedos came in and let me tell you-SPOT ON!!! Really great. yes there were some minimal alterations but overall it was an A+

I cannot believe that stores like this still exist. I found Alan David online and was hesitant at first. I needed a few suits for work so I ordered a blue and a gray. They suits came in and they fit me like a glove, almost no adjustments. I am short and fat and I always wore 3 button suits but they explained to me that 3 button accentuate the stomach and that I should stick with 2 button. Now the top button hits me right at the fullest part of my gut and really slims me out. Also they made the length of my jacket perfect so I look taller, I really do. The longer the jacket the shorter I had looked, now I look great. Who knew-highly recommend.

Found this great suit custom store. Very impressed. large selection of fabrics, I got a super 130s blue navy suit. What was great was the fit-really good fit. Also the sales staff is quite professional. Will for sure return for more.
