I grew up in the Bronx and every Saturday, I did the family grocery shopping. At nine years of age, That was over 55 yrs ago! I had my list of meats to get for the family. How well I remember Biancardi's. I miss the skinny lamb sausage and I wonder if they still make it. It's worth a trip from Maryland. I'm glad they still are in business!

I suggest you make the trip across the river and visit these guys. The value and the quality are the best. Some things are almost half the cost of NJ butchers and the meat is the best. Cross Bronx to Bronx River Parkway to Fordham Rd. to Arthur Ave.... And yes it is safe, it is an old time Italian neighborhood Ask for Tony.... Al & Diane in New Jersey
