Billy's DOES NOT allow orders of a dozen cupcakes for walk-ins

Cupcake was good but the woman behind the counter refused to sell us a dozen cupcakes on what she claimed was a busy night when NO ONE was behind me on the line.

I love Billy's bakery - Ive had the cupcakes, banana cream pie and the 'Hello Dolly' bar (one of my favorites) and all were awesome. I stopped in with a few friends after dinner one night and we cuddled at the small tables sharing bites of everything we got. The only thing id wish for - more seating room at Billy's so more people can fit. There's only room for maybe 10 people all squished together, so if youre with a small party maybe be prepared to take your sweets and walk with them. They also have the cutest little 1-cupcake boxes, a great little gift.

We recently placed a special order from Billy's Bakery. It was a such disappointment! Bad services with bad presentation. When they finally delivered the cake, they still got our order wrong!!! I would never order from there again, and would strongly advise anyone else to think twice because every single item there is over charged!!!!!!!

Friends wanted to swing by Billy's Bakery, a place Ive never visited, to satisfy a craving for something sweet. We showed up at the door to this cute but tiny bakery. Immediately I had flashbacks of my hellish experiences in Magnolia Bakery, a place I will never go back to. Billys is far better quality than Magnolia Bakery where the bakers there spit at you like vipers. Billys selection looks pretty much like what you would expect find. I place my order with a very professional and nice baker. The baker who rang me up actually said for me to have a nice day. So THIS is what it feels like to be treated well. Billys cupcakes are essentially perfect. The cake was light, moist and dense enough to be hearty. The frosting was perfectly sweetened and not overpowering. It was exactly what I needed. While I have only had the cupcakes at Billys, I am sure that other treats I will try there will be just as good. If the cupcakes are any indication whatsoever, I have absolutely nothing to worry about.

I frequent many cupcake places in Manhattan from Harlem to the Lower East Side. I think Billy's is the overall best. The Banana Cake is to die for! The cupcakes are very good and the icing is not overly confectionary sugary like Magnolia Bakery. I ordered a full German Chocolate cake for a relative's birthday and it was wonderful. A true authentic German Chocolate cake. If you like homemade old fashion basic cakes and cupcakes, Billy's is the place!
