beautiful assortment!

the collections at bird on smith and its sister on 5th ave in park slope are expertly edited and presented- it's a mellow shopping environment with helpful, laid back staff. the only problem is that you want almost everything in there and its pricey - isabel marant, vena cava, mayle, rachel comey, amanda uprichard...but everything is unique and fun and well-made. the park slope store recently relocated close to my apt and its takes all my strength not to go in every time i pass by! a necessity for the bk girl who likes to shop.
