Ordered a bra and panties and was told it would ship out .They shipped the panties and said the bra was on back order.This item was a set.Several weeks later they tried to charge my credit card for the bra they finally received and was told I would have to place a new order as so much time has passed.They E-mailed me and gave me several days to call or they would cancel my order.I called a half an hour before my time was up and they cancelled the order.I replaced the order being told it would take another week.Two weeks later a receive a bra that I did not order in the correct box.This bra was 30 dollars less and not even my size.In the mean time they have taken the money from my account.The people on the phone were no help until I told them this was mail fruad then the president calls me.I have never been treated worse in my life.They wanted me to ship the wrong bra back at my expense and time.I am disabled with lupus .She was suggesting things to me that were not very nice.They did not offer me anything but aggravation.They have my money ,I have the wrong bra and I still have no earthly idea when I will get it.I have been shopping with them for years and this is not my first problem .It was suggested to me I shop somewhere else.I will and I will take people with me.

My wife bought a bra on-line for our daughter and after discovering it was a poor fit - never mind waiting 12 days for it to be delivered - called customer service to arrange for an exchange. After paying a ridiculously high $9.95 shipping, my wife offered to pay for the return shipping but asked if shipping costs for a new bra could be waived. After 20 minutes, getting no where, my wife gave up and I went on line and ordered the same bra from ZAPPOS with FREE Shipping. GREAT customer service and I would avoid Bra Smyth at all costs.

When I arrived, I asked to be measured. The saleswoman asked me my size and I told her. She looked me over once, with my clothes on and proclaimed that it wasn't really my size and then brought me a smaller cup size and a larger band width size. I have been measured at other fine lingerie stores many times, plus I just had my wedding dress fitting, so I know my bra size and this woman had it wrong. But, I tried on the bras she gave me just to see. They did not fit. I was spilling out of them on the top and sides but she insisted that they fit and kept bringing more bras insistently. I asked for nude bras and the woman brought me one in navy. I liked it but she told me they were out of it in nude so I should buy it in navy. No! The woman was pushy and bad at her job and I feel embarrassed that I was pushed into buying anything there. Plus the saleswomen were really catty and were too busy gossiping with each other to properly do their jobs. I'm going to return the bras today. Also, it seemed like the store only carried two brands of bras, which I found very strange. Bad bad store. I won't return.

From anticipatory expectation to total disappointment within 7 days! I was delighted to learn that Bra Smyth's product line included bra sized swimwear. Prior to online ordering, I telephoned Customer Service to inquire about the product quality and (true) sizing, and received an informed assessment of the product and proceeded to order a ($142.00) Curacao Tankini swim suit. The construction of a 36F/G bra sized swimsuit was poor: 1) bra size was not accurate and did not have the advertised support structure of a bra; 2) the fabric was thin, flimsy and lightweight, clearly not the woven density required for a swimsuit to fit a woman. I purchased a product from a known and respected retailer expecting to receive a product reflective of their branding. Instead I received a product that could have been sold by a big box discount store (at no more than $29.99). I relied on the Bra Smyth brand. Big mistake!! In this swimsuit instance, I can't believe that the company had any input on the product or sign-off on quality control. I stated my dissatisfaction and complaint to Customer Service, requested a shipping fee credit (at least one way) - the company neither honored order fulfillment or cared about customer opinion. Polite, but no satisfaction!

A visit to Bra Smyth has become a favorite birthday tradition for me. Go to the Madison Avenue shop - the selection at Broadway and the service is not nearly what you will find at the Madison Avenue shop. This year I turned 60 and took all my current bras with me for them to trash, alter or approve of before I bought anything new. They did not even blink at my request but dove right in and helped me 'clean out' my lingerie drawer. Then it was time to fill in with a couple of new bras that would be right under tee shirts, or sweaters, black, beige etc. Paulette is fabulous. She listened to what I wanted (lift! ... shape! etc.) and found a couple of perfect fits that I would never have selected by myself. In three business days my altered new and old bras were delivered to Connecticut. Do yourself a favor and let them help you. If you have the right shape wear you do not need a lot. They did not push me to buy, honored my merchandise credit and told me how to launder my bras better. Worth a trip from anywhere!

I saw an ad in NYT for 20% off. Bought a bra but when I asked about discount told none. But when woman saw my face, she said where did you hear about it. When I said the newspaper, she whispered as if doing me a favor, I'll give you the 20% off as a favor. Got home and checked ad. Won't do business there again.

Unbelievable. I had the same situation as the previous reviewer. Returned an order that arrived much later than promised, months went by and when I called for refund they stated they didn't receive it. The return label was apparently from their "old" warehouse which shut down. Took all my information and instead of issuing a return they shipped the order again. And CHARGED ME AGAIN. The order was $348.00 and now they had over $700.00 of my $ as they charged shipping on both orders. I finally got a check in the mail for the items (which is very odd, why not credit back my credit card?). But I gave them a second chance and I am now battling to get my $ back on an item that didn't fit, and they shipped the wrong size top. I haven't received the exchanged top and haven't received the refund. NEVER AGAIN. Not sure if this company hopes people will walk away, figure it's too much of a hassle after a while. Very poor business!!

I have heard that BraSmyth has great selection and beautiful high quality bras, all of which is true. HOWEVER, their customer service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The saleswomen are aggressive and beligerent. AND DON'T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO GET A BRA ALTERED THERE, unless you want to wait a month to get your bra back, and be verbally abused by the unbearable, hostile, evasive staff. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES THERE OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS. THEY HAVE A GREAT SELECTION SO I KEEP TRYING TO GO BACK, IN THE HOPES THAT SOMETHING HAS CHANGED. BUT ALAS, THE QUALITY OF SERVICE NEVER CHANGES AND I REFUSE TO SHOP THERE EVER AGAIN. I suggest going to Bloomingdales for bras, or, if you know your size, just go downtown to Century 21 where you can get bras at a discount, without having to deal with an abusive staff!

Total rip off! Do NOT fall victim to their scam. I have been begging for my refund of $188.00 for ONE YEAR now! I ordered three bras, waited for them to come, tried them on only to find out they did not fit. I used the company s return label to exchange them for the next size, but I never heard back. Three months later, I called to find out, and they claimed that they moved warehouses and lost my order. They sent me new bras in new sizes, only to not fit AGAIN! I once again sent them back, but never heard from them again, so I called...again! They claim that they do not have record of the original order, but they do of the second order, but they cannot credit the refund, they will send it to accounting for my refund to be expedited...It has been 7 months now since I sent the second ones back, and I am still waiting for my refund. STILL WAITING! What kind of company does this? Do not be scammed like me, unless you can afford to be out almost $200...I can not!

I had heard they were experts in fit and had hard-to-find sizes. The big problem is the saleswoman didn't listen to anything I said and kept bringing me things I didn't need or like. So I need an unobtrusive t-shirt bra and she brings me a $225 lacey white mess that looked like something a Trump bride would wear. "Just try it on." Some of the bras they said fit me obviously didn't. I left and found the new Bra Salon down on Lex and it was terrific.
