Shockingly Shallow

Honestly, I ordered a sympathy basket to ship to California from a DA's Office when one of our co-workers lost her father. The Basket was $129 and I put it on my card and collected money for it. I received a call from an employee named Steven who told me they don't ship fruit to CA. So, I asked if they could switch the basket to one without fruit which was $10 more and just take $10 of product out. They told me they would charge me $50 because if they had to take stuff out it would be a "custom basket." I reminded them this was for a funeral. They did not care. I told them I spent over $500 sending baskets after Hurricane Katrina to displaced friends. The guy says, "fine, we will take the fudge out of the basket." Cause it would kill you to float a couple of pieces of fudge to a grieving widow and her two children. If I ever get that money hungry, soulless and shallow...
