hidden gems

Yes, I would go back!

I tripped on this in quest for bridal shoes - even after high and low searches at Barneys and Bergdorf, Chuckies had a Miu Miu that I didn't even know existed and was exactly what I wanted. Nice to have a hidden spot without the impersonal feel of the department store. Not a spot to count on a bargain, but suits well for special occasions for sure.

Unexpected Surprise

Yes, I would go back!

It's hard to find a bargain on the upper east, but every now and then Chuckie's will help you out. Got a great pair of stilettos for 60% off (although even at full price they'd be worth it for the compliments I get on them!). Selection is pretty limited, but they have great stuff so you should be able to find what you need. I was actually referred there by a Bloomingdale's associate!
