Now called Stone Classics and located in the D&D Building (sign at old location indicated they were evicted). Charged a premium price and delivered a sofa that was significantly understuffed, uncomfortabl, and unattractive. They agreed to restuff our cushions; we dropped them off on 10/13/11. On 10/17 they called to tell us they had no one to work on them and that they were sending them back to us. After chasing Pasquale and then Jeff (the owner) for 2 weeks, we were told to call him again in 2 weeks and he'd give us a firm date. When we called, we were told sorry, please call again in another 2 weeks. And so on. After 3 months of this, they finally agreed to pick up the cushion on 1/17/12, which they did but only after aggressive follow-up from us...as of the morning of the 17th, it was still unclear if it would really happen that day. They said the cushions would be returned to us on the 19th; no surprise, they weren't. On the 20th, when we still didn't have the cushions, we spent the entire day trying to get someone to answer the phone (typical) and when we finally tracked down the owner late in the afternoon he told us the delivery man had already gone home and we couldn't get the cushions back until Monday 1/23. We'll see if that even happens. They are completely disorganized, appear to be grossly understaffed, and have terrible customer service. No follow up, no follow through, and nothing gets done in a timely manner. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I ordered a sleep sofa for a client over a year ago. They sent instead a regular sofa without a bed pull-out unit. Everything was clearly stated and discussed. My client paid for shipping out of the country on this item. Now she has no sleeper. I have waited months for them to replace the piece. They say they have it ready except for the mattress unit. Now they won't take my calls. They have my money, my client has no sleeper, and I've lost a project because of these idiots. Never, ever again.

I love my sofa from Classic Sofa I have had it for over four years. I just got a second sofa for my den. It is soooo cool. Custom made to fit my room! I had good service with no issues and the sofa was ready on time.

A gentleman named Eric assisted me and provided me with an excellent education--all about sofas. I liked that he spent a lot of time with me and did not rush me. I ask for delivery of my sofa on a specific date and they did it! It is most beautiful. I am very happy with Classic Sofa. I placed a second order this morning for a chair.

I am an interior designer; I have clients in NYC and Greenwich. I always purchase my sofas at Classic Sofa for the past ten years. They make them to the inch for me to fit the tight city homes. I have even designed my own sofa, which they made for me. I have always had good luck with them. And when there have been issues they worked with me to quickly resolve them. This is a must for designers. Tell them Mary sent you!

I saw all these reviews good and bad but went forward as my friend has a great sofa--that I wanted and she had no problems with Classic Sofa. These reviews worried me but, I am writing this review because I had no problems at all. And my sofa (which I love) was ready in two weeks as promise!

Wow -- if you scroll down past these recent reviews all exhibiting the same suspiciously chirpy pr tone -- you will see a pattern relaying the true picture. Do not give these people your credit card. They overcharged us and no one would return our calls. It took 3 months to deliver a sofa that was promised in 3 weeks, and then they charged us more than the salesman in writing told us it would cost. They do not care. Be very aware fellow consumers. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review on any vendor.

My dad came over today and saw my new sofa. He said, wow that will impress the relatives! Need I say more. We receive it very quickly too.

Classic Sofa delivered as promised in two weeks. I picked out the style from the Classic Sofa website and walk into the store with a print out. I place my order quite quickly with the sales person. I love my new sofa!
