My Favorite NY Bagels!

Yes, I would go back!

I totally disagree with these other reviews. I think Daniel's makes the BEST bagels in the city!! Their 9-grain are amazing- perfect chewy, crusty exterior. They're warm and fresh when purchased :-) The lines are often long in the mornings but move fairly quickly.

Don't bother

No, I would not go back!

Their breakfast sandwiches are tasteless. Their lunch sandwiches are a rip-off. I ordered a turkey sandwich on a roll with lettuce, tomatoes, American cheese, and a little bit of mayo - $7.30. I was appalled. It's not even gourmet and the old man who assisted me certainly didn't understand what "a little bit of mayo" meant. And talk about hygiene - one hand donned a glove and the other didn't - and both hands touched my sandwich. Go figure. Ugh!!

Bageler Beware!

No, I would not go back!

This old time favorite has gone down (Murray) hill fast! Recently, they seem to have changed staff, policies and ingredients. My last visit spoiled a relaxing Saturday morning in New York and had me feeling unwell the rest of the weekend.
