Sad to say it "negative review lady" but you are nutz. Given your temper tantrum on line it is not the DL Cerney staff who are rude: it is you. Perhaps you invite in negativity? Seems so by this childish tantrum on this blog. The Staff, for the record, are wonderful persons. They are a family and I am a steady customer of DL Cerney Clothiers and recommend them without any reservations to any man or woman. They also are capable of "dressing" theatrical productions and films as well and have done so fairly regularly. They have also created a dress for me, for a special wedding, and I looked just great and got so many compliments. I love their Vintage style clothing and the impeccable way they create their clothes -- and with such flair too. I have several shirts and dresses by DL Cerney. So everyone: GO THERE. Ignore the negative review. Do yourself a favor and get to East 7th Street pronti.

My hubbie's been buying shirts from D.L. Cerney for ages, before I met him. He wore a D.L. shirt when we got married! Even after we left NYC, I return to D.L. every fall to get a shirt for hubbie for Christmas. The shop is adorable and the clothes quite special.

Here you'll find marvelous garments, impeccably made, for women and men. The design, detail, textiles et al. transcend fashion--they are truly objects of art. You won't find ready to wear like this elsewhere in this metropolis. Barneys? Fugedaboutit.

I adore this unique store and wish I could afford to buy one of everything they have. If you ever need a special gift for a man, their shirts are to die for. Jackets too. Women's apparel equally beautiful. And shoes... it's all good. I have been buying here for years.

I had a wonderful shopping experience at this store. The owner, Duane, was one of the most pleasant, friendly and helpful store owners I have ever encountered in my life - he is clearly a man who is passionate about his work. The level of service here far supersedes that given at most boutiques, not to mention chain or department stores. You are made to feel special. I would have awarded a '10' for selection but on the occasion I visited they were running low on dress sizes - but more are on their way and I'm already looking forward to my return visit. The dress I bought has garnered me many compliments - it was an investment, but a very worthwhile one. There's a great selection of men's clothing as well. Do yourself a favor and visit this store!

I've been buying menswear here since I lived a block away in NYC 20 years ago. It's a must visit for me now that I live in LA, every time I return to NY. Fabulous clothes, wonderful people.
