My fiance has style and taste. Needless to say she had expectations for her engagement ring. She wanted an antique aquamarine solitaire in a white metal setting (No princess cut plesase!). So this had me, an inexperienced jewelry buyer, pounding the New York pavement and the internet. After visits to the depressing Diamond District and 5th Ave I came across the Doyle & Doyle listing on NY Mag's site and called em up. I described what I was looking for and they said they would take a look in the vault. I held my breath till the next day and the super sweet, non-intimidating rep called back and asked for my email address! What I got were scans of a stunning piece and I did a dance of joy right there in my office!

Over the past several months, I have been shopping for an engagement ring. In my business I travel a lot so I've been to stores all across the country. Having spent countless hours trying to find just the right ring, I happened upon Doyle & Doyle. What a delight. The girls there were amazingly helpful and went well beyond what one normally receives in this sort of situation. They made sure I got the ring I wanted and kept it within the budget I specifed. These girls have an amazing selection of all kinds of jewelry in their store. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a store which had estate and vintage jewelry, when I found Doyle & Doyle. They have a fantastic selection and a wonderful atmosphere. The store is very friendly and informative. Whenever I've had a question I've always felt comfortable and the staff really takes the time to answer my questions. I go back to the store whenever I want to look at beautiful jewelry because the pieces are always changing. It's great to see really special jewelry displayed in such a welcoming atmosphere.

I was shopping for something for my mother's birthday when someone recommeded Doyle & Doyle for antique jewelry. They have an incredible selection and are very knowledgeable about their inventory. Both Doyle sisters took a lot of time to help me decide on the perfect gift for my mother. I will be returning later this month to pick out an engagement ring for my girlfriend. Highly recommended!!

The Doyle sisters did an incredible job creating a mounting for our diamond. We had been searching for months and were getting really frustrated by the treatment we were getting at other stores. Most salespeople did not want to help us once they found out we only wanted to buy a mounting. I guess they thought that since it was a relatively small sale it was not worth their while. The Doyle sisters were patient and helpful from the get-go. They walked us through the process and made the perfect ring for us (and in our budget)! They will make sure you get a great ring no matter how much you have to spend.

I was in recently to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I had been looking all around and finally hit it right with the girls at Doyle & Doyle. Not only were they extremely informative about the particulars of the rings, but also very patient as it took 3 visits for me to choose the perfect ring. It was definitely worth the trip downtown.

I have been by the shop several times and have always been stunned by their un-rivaled antique engagement ring selection. The owners are always so sweet, helpful and knowlegeable. Thank you D & D for your unique finds and "bend over backwards" approach to customer service!!

My fiancé and I went into Doyle and Doyle to look for antique engagement rings. The co-owner (as I later found out) immediately sized us up, and decided she didn't want anything to do with us. She begrudgingly showed me a few rings, made no eye contact and was very short when I asked her any questions. Needless to say, we left and I would never step foot in there again. I recommend you go somewhere where they'll treat you the way you deserve to be treated as a potential customer.
