Value for your money!

I've been shopping here for over 20 years, and the prices for the selection offered cannot be beat in Manhattan. In addition to the fine cheeses, I buy all my deli meats and pate here. When Les Trois Couchons closed, I discovered that their pate is sold at East Village Cheese, including their vegetarian pate. Everything is always first quality and fresh due to the turnover in the store. Their selection of quiche is terrific and a good value for the large pies. In the front of the store are their packaged offerings which are also a good value and the packaged saussages here are delicious. If you get there early in the morning, the bread selection is first rate so all your shopping can be done here. Also, the coffee beans which they will grind for you is very good and offered at very reasonable prices. East Village Cheese is a real find.
