Best Dog Trainer Ever!!

My sweet 6 year old pembroke welsh corgi Oliver and I have taken many classes with Denise Herman beginning with puppy kindergarden then obedience and Tricks classes and even a frisbee class. Thanks to Denise my little Ollie gives a great high five and does a quick roll over when I point my finger and say "bang bang"! More recently I lost my older 14 year old pembroke welsh corgi named Boo Boo. I was worried about Ollie becoming depressed as he loved Boo and they were a pack. Denise communicated with me over email giving me many helpful suggestions to keep his spirits up during this difficult time. She reminded that he needs more mentally stimulating food delivery toys for times when he is alone at home such as The Tricky Treat Ball that I purchased when I took him to puppy class. And that toy took away his glum expression and turned it into a happy smile as he pushed the toy around and attempted to shake the treats out!! Most recently I took Ollie to another one of Denise's Tricks Seminars. And it is true Denise really can teach an old dog new tricks!! Now Ollie is only 6 years old, but he isn't a pup anymore and he learned several new tricks for his repetoire in this 90 minute seminar. He learned "play dead" and "crawl" and honed up his "sit pretty." Whenever I take him on a walk I receive so many compliments about his ability to perform tricks and he loves the attention and treats. So thank you Denise for all your wonderful suggestions and help with Ollie!

Great training class

We brought our precocious puggle to the "Puppy Kindergarten" class and found it to be an amazing source of information for ways we can work on training our dog in our home. Besides the opportunity to interact in an enclosed environment with other puppies, we got one-on-one feedback on how our training exercises were going and even got homework! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone with a puppy - better to nip any behavioral issues in the bud before they get to be a problem.

We brought our 3 month old wild puppy to Denise's Puppy K class and in 4 classes he was well mannered, behaving well around other people and dogs and ready for the real world. Denise gave us practical tips on raising a dog with manners and helped us avoid common puppy owner mistakes. I know we will be using Denise as our puppy grows and cannot thank her enough.
