I just had to share my thoughts on this specific place, because me and my fiance found the perfect engagement ring right here, for an awesome price. (Well, I didn't pay, but happened to hear it). I wanted a specific ring from Tiffany, but didn't want to make my other half pay Tiffany prices. Miraculously, Eric (the owner) happened to have this exact same ring in his collection. He helped us with a lot of care and knows quite a bit about diamonds and then some. We were referred to him by a friend of ours who had been buying jewelry from him for decades, and always had been happy with the price, quality & service at Eric's jewelry place. If you want value for your money and rest assured that you got what you asked for and nothing other than that (versus being ripped off by any of the other slimy weasels found all over the rest of this district) , just go to Eric's place and you will be in good hands.

Awesome selection of antique jewelry, especially antique diamond engagement rings and mountings. Rivals all the other popular spots in NYC for antique jewelry such as Doyle & Doyle, Stephen Russell, Fred Leighton, Michael Ashton, etc... crushes them all on price. Staff is very courteous and trustworthy.
