Courteous

Yes, I would go back!

I went in with a simple request, not realizing I was out of my league. I didn't know anything about the shop, only that they sold lighting. I needed a new lampshade. I told the gentleman in the shop about my need, about what I was looking for, and the difficulty I had finding what I needed at stores like Restoration Hadware; Bed, Bath and Beyond; Pottery Barn. I had planned to spend no more than $50. He explained what his shop specialized in, and what he did. He gave me an estimate that of course was more than I originally planned, but reasonable considering the quality of work he offers. I was in a hurry, and interrupted him several times, to my great regret. I found him fair, courteous, patient, and kind. I don't understand the other reviews at all!

Rude rude rude!

No, I would not go back!

There was a "back in 5 minutes" note on the door when I brought my lamps in for repair, and I ended up waiting 20 minutes. Then they took longer than promised to complete the repair, and they charged more than their estimate, and they only take cash. The first time I went to pick the lamps up, they had left another "back in 5" note on the door. This time I did not have time to wait. Then, worst of all, they called and left a message threatening to charge a storage fee if I did not come to pick up the lamps. A STORAGE FEE! I suggest staying away from this place if you don't want to deal with their heavy-handed attitude. They are extremely rude, especially the woman, who was mentioned in other reviews. (I have a feeling the reason they only accept cash is that others have been very unhappy with their work.)

Cool Lamps, Poor Service

No, I would not go back!

Have you ever gone into a store that had interesting things in the window only to be treated rudely, turning you off to ever wanting to buy anything there? That was my experience today. Go ahead and try to ask a question of the lady who works there and you'll see what I mean.
