Financier is my favorite pastry chain, but I don't know if I want to go back to the Stone street location. I ordered a cup of Today's Soup to-go at the casher and waited for more than 5 minutes. Seeing some customers after me being served, I went back to the casher and told her I was still waiting for the food. She was chatting with her colleague (!) but turned to me, saying "huh? what are you waiting for?" no memory!!! no friendliness. no compassion. After a short while, my soup came out. She was like "here we go!" Again, no smile. no apologies. I am not expecting a Ritz-Carlton kind of service at a pastry chain, but don't they provide customer service training to their employees? (Some other employees there were friendlier, though - and I LOVE the food)
