They also do repairs, such as adjusting watchbands. I had walked through SoHo on my lunchbreak, stopping at about four different jewelry stores to see if any of them adjusted watch bands - I had just received a new watch for Christmas, and needed it resized. The last store told me that they didn't know anyone who did that in the neighborhood. Walking back to my office, I saw House of Horology, and figured I'd give it one last shot. They do those types of adjustments, and Lawrence was very friendly and helpful. The fix was done while I waited, and it now fits.

I live in the neighborhood and stopped by this store a few weeks ago. I have never worn a watch but after seeing their watches I tried one on and found them to be a bit heavier than I thought, but really well designed and just the right size - not too big and not too small. The owner was a great guy to chat with too, seems like he really knows his stuff and takes pride in the watches he designed. I ended up getting the green watch and have been wearing it every day since I bought it. Even if their watches aren't your style, they had a big range of vintage watches too.
