I ordered my Lucinda gown MONTHS before my wedding. Five days before it was scheduled to be delivered I received an email that read: "Thanks for your recent order with JCrew! We wish we had enough...but your order has been cancelled." Had this been a cashmere sweater I would be fine. But I ordered a wedding dress, turned down generous offers of other gowns and stopped shopping. I had no back up. Now Ill probably head down the isle naked--- due to a "lag" between online orders and inventory at the warehouse. They NEVER should have gotten into bridal. Dont promise what you cant deliver. Stick to sweaters and jeans. Customer service was very good (not their fault), but overall===this has been a COMPLETE disaster.
