Service missing in exclusive pricey boutique

What a shame that the obvious attention to detail in the merchandise selection does not carry into the realm of customer service. You will pay top prices here for designer merchandise but do not expect top customer service. While their online store guarantees return for exchange or refund; this does NOT apply to instore purchases. The store is tiny and the sales person helping me didn't have the courtesy to mention this DIFFERENT policy, which would have been lovely to do so given the prices. Shame on me too for not thinking to inquire if the online and instore policy was different. When i got home and realized the crotch didn't hang right and white tailor markings were apparent in sunlight; I fedxed back to the store. They had it within 3 days but refused to credit my credit card. In fact, the owner wants to limit the time period the credit is good - a policy not posted anywhere and one that my credit card company is helping me fight. Seems like a boutique of this high end would want to build loyal customers, as their selection is so enticing. It's kind of like that really good looking man you would like to have had a long term relationship but then a bit of 'ugliness' rears its head..
