Worth the trip

I've been a customer of the Lilac for at least 15 years. That includes traveling from Jersey and climbing up that forever staircase leading from the PATH platform to Christopher Street. In addition to the most important thing - the most fabulous chocolate - the store (whether the old or the new) is always clean. I have never seen a customer treated rudely no matter how obnoxious the customer. They have always been extremely helpful to me whether it was a small purchase or an extreme holiday order, shower favors, or orders to be shipped. They are, all around, the best.
