Intially, I knew about Lisa because I lived a few blocks from her former East Village store. When, years later, my now husband and I were discussing an engagement, I had absolutely no idea what kind of ring I wanted. I looked at a couple stores, and honestly just didn't like anything I found. We decided to talk to Lisa and go custom since then we could get something we both liked. Lisa was wonderful to work with. I went in knowing that I wanted a solitaire with metal work and came out (well, a bit later) with a wonderful, antique looking ring that is so unique and special. It's honestly absolutely perfect and no one else can possibly have anything else like it. I especially like how the ring's setting is a unique shape - something you don't see all the time. Highly recommend. And, getting wedding bands to match was super easy.

Lisa made me an amazing engagement ring for my now fiancee, from the original idea, to choosing the stone, to the castings and the final product everything was great, no hidden costs, very patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind and really went out of her way to make sure I had it on time. She is very talented and just an all round kind person. Easily the nicest jewelry I have ever seen- give her your custom, if she can fit you in!

If you want a custom engagement ring or wedding band designed, Lisa is your best pick! I would give her 10 stars if possible. She goes above and beyond when it comes to service, attention to detail and quality. I was impressed by my very first visit with Lisa. We made an appt with her via email (and she is very responsive!) on a Sat morning and she gave us her undivided attention. Her store was bustling with people going in and out looking at her jewelry or trying to make an appt to discuss custom designs but I was so surprised that she calmly told them to come back in an hour and focused 100% on us. We never felt rushed and she took her time to understand what we were looking for and took copious notes. She showed us a book with some of her pieces and they were amazing. Lisa mixes her own metals as well and I am completely in love with her champagne and rose gold while R loved her green gold. At the first meeting, we asked her to help us source some diamonds. She offered 3 showings but 2 was all I needed because prior to each showing, she would email us all the specs and her own comments so that we knew exactly what we were seeing. Having visited other jewelers, I expected to compromise on one of the "Cs" but with Lisa, I didn't! She found me the PERFECT stone. When I saw the final ring, it was gorgeous. The micropave was soooo intricate and the setting is extremely unique.

My fiancee and I were on the hunt for an antique emerald engagement ring, a simple solitaire with a touch of art deco, which was proving to be difficult. Little did I know that he was really working with the lovely Lisa Linhardt on a custom piece of recycled rose gold and a beautiful deep green natural Colombian emerald. It is perfect! Lisa's work is exquisite and thoughtful. She is fantastic at listening very intently to what you want and I think that she is great at reading personalities and building a piece that truly fits YOU. I have had multiple people comment the the ring is "so you!" I also had an appraiser ask if it was an antique family piece (yes!) and it will be, for my grandchildren one day. A big thank you Lisa - can't wait to see what we cook up for the wedding bands.

Lisa was amazing from start to finish. She exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only did she make a beautful piece, but she did it all within my budget with no hidden tricks. We worked together on the design and made a truly personal piece that was more elegant and beautiful than I ever imagined. Every step of the way she was receptive, accomidating and genuine. The first two castings of my fiancee's engagement ring she re-did because they were not up to her standards, and not because I asked her to. The final product is flawless, unique, and something that I am proud to have the love of my life wear forever. Lisa was also a huge help choosing the stone, which is usually the part of the process where you get hosed. She really hooked me up with the absolute best for my money and I will forever be a customer of hers(that is, as long as she can fit me in). I can't believe the amont of time and personal attention I was given. Not only do I recommend her, but I pity the fool that goes somewhere else. Lisa, thank you. We will forever be thankful and remember all that you have done for us!

Lisa listened to our ideas and pulled them all together into two amazing rings. We were part of the design process and even were able to shape the rings ourselves. This makes them even more special, knowing we helped create them. and they're beautiful! thanks, lisa! t&j

About a month ago my fiance surprised me with the most perfect engagement ring, created by the one and only Lisa Linhardt. I had not met Lisa before I received my ring, so I was amazed that she was able to take the information my fiance gave her and create something so fitting for me. I couldn't have dreamed of a better ring to adorn my finger! My fiance told me how amazing she is to work with and what a darling person she is. I was lucky to meet her recently and he was indeed correct. Just knowing that someone so talented and kind took care to make my engagement ring makes it all the more special. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for our wedding bands!

The jewelry Lisa Linhardt designs is not only visually stimulating, it is also conceptually invigorating. Her 3 diamond past, present, and future engagement ring brings new life to a time old phrase... Her fingerprint embossed wedding bands are as unique as anyone who ever wears them...Her asymmetrically set engagement ring will be the envy of any fashionista's rival. From micro pave to hand hammering and twists, Lisa Linhardt's art is truly a masterpiece to be worn through time.

I knew I wanted an ethical engagement ring, and that I didn't want something off the shelf. Lisa somehow took all my conflicting ideas about what I thought I had in mind and walked me through her design process to come up with some great options. And, I knew I could trust her when the stone that she guided me to on memo was the one that was the best value, not the one that was the most expensive. The ring that she created is incredible, in design and craft, and every time my fiancee gets a compliment on her ring it makes me look like a genius, but Lisa deserves all the credit! We'll be back when it's time to design our wedding bands!

This rarely happens to me. Usually what compels me to walk into a store in New York is either a sign that states a ridiculously good bargain or a mannequin in the store front window dressed in the exact thing that I've been complaining about needing for the past six months. I walked into this store with the intention of it's disappointment, but instead I'm dazzled by two extremely un-stuffy girls talking about astrology and one of them seemingly ecstatic about a new love prospect. On top of that, they even complimented me on an article of jewelry I was wearing that day. I wanted to buy one of everything, and believe I'll be back as soon as my budget is open for November!
