Saved my Husband's Hermes Tie!
By stylechicx on 5/22/2009
My husband's favorite Hermes tie was ruined during a lovely anniversary dinner, he was very upset. My sister-in-law recommended Madame Paulette, and to my surprise they took the heavy stains out! It is like magic, and I am very satisfied with the results. I would definitely come back for any emergencies to occur in the future.
I only trust Madame Paulette with my designer clothing!

I use to work at a high-end retailer and they only trusted Madame Paulette with repairing their garments. After I left my previous job, until this day I am still a loyal customer of Madame Paulette. Being an avid vintage shopper, I am able to buy vintage Chanel and Alaia pieces that are in poor condition and have them restored back to life by Madame Paulette, and also it is very reasonably priced considering the amazing job that they do...THANK YOU!!!!!

My one and only really really really expensive gown ripped going down the stairs at the Waldorf... UGH, shredded event, I took it to Madame Paulette and they were able to save my gown!!! You can't even tell it ripped. Amazing staff.

Galina is absolutely amazing. She took on an almost impossible task and fixed my cocktail dress to its perfection. It was a tricky job as it required taking out the dress which had a built-in corset inside. She was meticulous and finished my dress on time. The only downside is that this place is not cheap. But it was worth every penny for me.

I love the ny mag reviews - but Madamme Paulette did not live up to its reputation. I had my wedding dress pressed here in April 2007 - the designer even came with me to provide very specific instructions. (The dress took 9 months to create and since it was a handmade/one of a kind, it had no 'care/material' labels. We took extra precautions.) The dress was: RIPPED at a delicate seam and BURNED near the boning! ALSO - the comb was removed from the vail which I noticed on the way to the church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, none of the instructions were followed and it cost almost $300 for the service. GO ELSEWHERE.
