I ended up with the ring of my dreams & have not had a single problem with it.

Transparent. Trustworthy. Caring. Marisa's personality set me at ease while shopping for my engagement ring 2 years ago. My husband & I went to 2 other jewelers before finding Marisa Perry. The other places were so cold, stressful, & made me feel like they were just trying to make a sale. It was the opposite at MPA. I went in there thinking I knew what I wanted & Marisa was so sweet & patient with me as I tried on rings. I loved how honest she was - I was set on a princess cut & she could have sold me one, but she cared enough to inform me of the risk you take with having such sharp, delicate corners. I specifically remember her saying, "that sale would be great for me, but, if you were my daughter, I'd tell you to..." I could tell she meant it. Marisa took the care to hear me when I said what I wanted & brought the perfect ring to me that I might have missed. She said, " I have an idea.. let me just try this ring on you.." - she slipped it on my finger & I just cried. I knew it was the ring for me. Marisa went above & beyond to help us. I remember how hesitant Steven was, thinking there was no way we could afford something like that on our fresh out of college budgets. Not only did she make my dream ring to fit with his wallet, she went shopping on L.I. for things we needed for the wedding that she could get cheaper out there! Our ring shopping experience was the start of a beautiful friendship that I'm just so thankful for. You'd be silly to not get your ring here.
The Place To Go For Engagement Rings!
By Bryce99 on 1/8/2012
My now fiancee told me to come to Marisa Perry (Soho) if and when I was ready to buy her a ring and make things official! Unbeknownst to her, this store was also recommended by a group of my colleagues, who got their rings here as well as on this site, so saw it fitting to post a review here. My friends at work were happy and I knew that Jenna, my fiance, liked the style of their micro-pave work. Well, they were right! I had another fantastic experience with both the owners and the staff. I found them to be kind, fun and have my best interest at heart. The ring was ready earlier than promised and my fiancee is in love with her ring! And so are her friends and family. Great Job Marisa Perry Atelier! Thank you for making this process so enjoyable.
Awesome Ring, Totally Awesome Service

A couple weeks ago I went into Marisa Perry, one of many places I had on my list for an engagement ring purchase. I ended up picking out a setting and actually picked up my ring today. I am blown away with how beautiful it is, but more blown away with the effort they put into finding and making me the right ring, considering my budget was way under the norm. I was consistently ignored at most of the other stores I had shopped at previously. My fiancee to be, would not give me any hints as to what she likes so the sales people went as far as going on facebook to see photos of my fiancee to get an idea of her style and hands to see what would look good on her. They pulled trays of settings out of the safe, over and above what was in the case and really assisted me in getting something that really reflects my fiancee's taste and personality. I would encourage you to at least check this place out before you make your final ring decisions. Plus, I can't explain why, but their rings felt better and appeared to have better workmanship than what I had seen around.
My new fiance loves her ring!

I went to a couple of places for the ring and I kept on coming back to here. It was one of the first places I looked and I should have stopped there. I I want to thank the staff there for making this experience enjoyable. Yes, the pieces are priced a little higher but you get what you pay for. And I got a wonderful ring!
Freshly Engaged With the Most Beautiful Ring
By JessiKolber on 8/31/2010
I went away on vacation with my boyfriend and was overjoyed when he proposed! He opened the box and there sat the most gorgeous ring! It was a tiny bit too big, so he took me back to the shop to a) get it sized and b) meet the people who worked there. Everyone was so warm and congratulatory! The ring was sized fast and now that I have it back, I can't stop staring at it!
Wonderful Products, Staff, and Service!

I had such an amazing time here. I was scoping out rings in SoHo and stopped by Marisa Perry, where they were having celebrating a couples engagement. I felt kinda bad interrupting, but a salesperson immediately got up and offered me a glass of wine too! I was shown, or should I say seduced by, several beautiful rings. My boyfriend said his friend recently got his ring there and was really happy with the service. We made an appointment to choose our favorite diamond and had it set in a gorgeous vintage style setting. I get constant compliments on it and couldn't be happier.
Great value, and the best Vintage Collection around.

Though I was tempted to get my fiance one of their amazing micro pave rings (the ones with the little diamonds in the shank) I decided with the guidance of head designer Douglas to create my own custom ring in the style of a ring my grandmother used to wear. Overall I ended up getting the girl and everyone was surprised that I could afford such an amazing ring.

The best selection and nicest people. Custom make anything.
Do not ask them to make custom jewelry.

I visited this store to see if they could make a ring, for which I had a picture and exact measurements. Marisa and Douglas Perry said they could easily replicate the ring. They charged us a fee (+$1,500) to create a mold. We suggested they visit the high-end jewelry store where we tried-on the ring. Douglas said it would cost half of the price of the high-end store. They showed us a mold that did not resemble the picture. Douglas said he spoke with a sales rep that gave him a different set of measurements for the individual diamonds, yet they gave him the same total carat weight (2.5). He produced a ring whose total carat weight was less than 1ct. He said it was because my ring size was 4.75, however, I tried the ring on at the store and it still was the same total carat-weight. Douglas looked dumbfounded when we showed him how his basic arithmetic did not add up. Marisa agreed that her husbandÂs math was not adding up and he should have noticed. They will not refund our deposit, nor will they return our phone call.
