THE place to go to kit your home out!

This was one of the most exciting shops I have ever visited, and I was looking forward greatly to paying a visit even before I came to New York. If you love cutting-edge homeware and furniture, this store is the last word in cool- I couldnt get over some of those weird and wonderful chairs and the hip table decorations. I couldnt take the kitchen sink back home with me, but I found plenty of small items and gadgets like a great little radio! The great thing is you dont have to splurge loads on the fun of shopping here, and it certainly takes the boredom out of shopping for furniture and everything- your house will be so much hipper!

If you never want to receive the items you've registered for... go ahead!

I registered with Moss when I got married, a while ago granted, and initially got excellent customer service. Recently though, I tried to complete my order with money that was still in our registry fund with them and I have had the most awful experience trying to receive anything! It has been over 5 months since I placed the order and NOTHING has been delivered. I have had to follow up with them numerous times and noone returns phone calls or e-mails. I have asked for a refund of our account (over $1200) and have been told it is impossible. There are other places that carry the same items and have better customer service. Go there.

ZERO REGARD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased over $2,000 of merchandise at Moss. One item was to be shipped directly to me once it came in-stock. Almost a YEAR later, I was forced to call the store several times and remind them they still owed me an item. After 2 months they finally admitted it seemed the item was NEVER going to be in stock, so I chose a replacement (not my favorite but I had limited choices at this point) which they then FORGOT to ship until I called yet AGAIN to ask where it was. I e-mailed a complaint to the manager...which he never noticed until I called yet AGAIN to demand a response. Even then, they made no effort to provide any apology or recompense for their total incompetence and zero customer service and follow-up. Moss has no regard for its customers. Go to another store, trust me!
