I went to Murray's this morning and had an awesome bagel and amazing customer service. I ordered a few different things, got to the register and realized that I forgot something. Even though they were busy, they were very sweet in getting me everything that I wanted before I left. Thanks for the great experience!

I've visited Murray's in Chelsea a few mornings recently and they've been busy, but they must have made improvements in customer service from the older review/rant. The store was busy, but the staff handled my order (fresh pumpernickel bagel with cc, capers!, tomato and Nova Scotia salmon lox) with aplomb. No attitude. Also, the coffee was hot and flavorful, not at all the infamous NYC deli "burnt water." My folks are coming to town and I'm excited to take them to Murray's as part of their first visit to NYC. On the downside, the signs at Murray's indicate that they have WiFi, but it wasn't working. Otherwise, good times!

I recently went in with two friends for breakfast. We ordered our food without incident, but when we got up to the counter, the cashier was EXTREMELY RUDE and back-talked to me when I asked her to add a drink to my order. To make matters worse, they messed up my order and gave me the runaround when I asked to speak to the manager. In a time when people are bending over backwards to try and keep their customers, it seems like Murray's is employing people that are ungrateful for their jobs and the people that keep them in business. I eventually spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager and she apologized. Nonetheless, the experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
