I entered the store, drawn in by the bright blue Moncler ski vest, and left having spent a small fortune but smiling. My wardrobe was updated because this jewel of a store carries some of the best examples of whatever is current. At the same time, I was guided with care by ONE OF THE OWNERS towards items that seem timeless. I have been back: once, Olive a sales associate told me that the a suit that seemed a bit too tight might be let out: Alex, their wondrous tailor, told me he could do it & now I have a custom Belvest suit.(Tip him ladies. You are getting couture) For summer, I have bought Canovas & Tracey Reese already. Men are across the street. .Great sales....Hooray for Eliot and Eileen!

Exceeds one's expectation

What started out at first as window shopping turned into a shopping discovery. Observing how chic and elegant the spring dresses were displayed on a mannequin has seduced me to enter the store despite my self conscious out look on my figure. Over all the sales girls were very friendly and helpful , however most of the clothe that I tried on seemed to fail to compliment my chubby figure until I was introduced to a tailor named Alex. At first I was skeptical that anything could be adjusted according to my figure but I fell in love w Bellvest jacket and I was willing to give it a try. After I came back for fiting in one week the jacket was altered based on my shape and it was comforting to find a custom tailor that knows his job. Ever since then, Peter Elliot has been my top clothing store where I get to have the clothe adjusted to my shape as opposed me trying to fit into the clothe. If you are like myself and find difficulty finding something stylish and elagant to wear then give this store a shot.Thank you Eileen and Alex.

What drew me to the store in 2005 was the colorful button-down shirts in the window. Already a Barbour (by Peter Elliot) client, I was pleased to find that Peter Elliot Women's clothing was as impeccably tailored as Barbour items. Four years after first shoping here, 95% of my wardrobe is composed of garments--shirts (cotton and linen), pants (for all seasons), sweaters (Summer and Winter), socks, turtlenecks, vest, outer jackets (with the fabulously ornate silk linings (I own five))--from this store, which caters to women willing to invest in well-made, classic clothing that is ALWAYS in style.
