beautifully designed store, artful eye, wonderful palette of colors. designs are always delicate, fresh and sensual. ideally, i would hire polux for my wedding flowers but they are bit overpriced.

Bad Attitude for overpriced flowers of comparable quality to deli-bought bouquets. I visit the florist at least once every two months to purchase bouquets and arrangements for various occasions. What I. had to endure and dish out at Polux was ridiculous. Over $70 spent on a small hand-held bouquet that wilted the next day. Had the flowers lasted as they should, I could have looked past the snobbish attitudes of the two women at the shop who basically ignored me when I walked in (never heard the words, "can I help you") - when they did acknowledge my existence, they proceeded to talked down on me and asked if wanted something *cheap* before I even had a chance to utter a word, they then proceeded to make me wait even longer while they happily assisted another walk-in who entered some time after me ("we will be right with you", they said - to her). Horrible experience. Butterflies and Zebras on Varick Street is 100x better in terms of quality AND service.

Tamar at Polux Fleuriste was wonderful- her arrangements and bouquets were creative, colorful, and simple. She listened to what we wanted, and made it more perfect than we could have imagined!! I would defintely go back, and recommend her to anyone!
