This was a nice shopping experience but a terrible post-purchase experience. Know what you are getting in to before you buy a dress here. The salesclerk that I met with and purchased the dress from was very nice and professional. The person that I worked with for fittings after I bought the dress was, in a word, awful. She had no sense of what needed to be done to the dress to make it fit properly and yet she was the person communicating with the seamstress. When I asked if I might speak to or meet with the seamstress directly, she refused. (After three more unsuccessful fittings and countless hours of wasted time, she relented on this.) On several occasions she told me I simply should not have bought the dress because it was "very difficult to make right". She complained to me about having to work on my dress. She was unpleasant, and it got to the point where I dreaded the fittings. It really wasn't worth it. There are a lot of excellent bridal shops in this city; do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one.

I felt compelled to write in after reading a review that had to be falsified information from one of the lesser bridal "houses" of New York. I cannot express what a complete delight my experience has been from start to (nearly) finish with this store. The graceful employees are buttoned up and patient. I never felt obligated, rushed, prodded or had any sense that this store was anything but the tops. Every clean and chic fitting room had a podium and it seemed they wouldn't allow me to imagine fitting into sometime without being atop the podium first. They take care with the gowns but more care with the customer. The staff has been accomodating, responsive, friendly and helpful. The store design will draw you, the gowns will thrill you but time and time again the customer service will keep you. Do yourself a favor and start here- you will need to go anywhere else.
