I first went to Roslyn after reading about her store in the New York Times travel section. The very nice article that I read, (I believe it was called 'A Personal Touch') was right on point. From the second I walked in I was greeted by the salespeople and it was obvious that Rolsyn's great eye was the reason for her stunning selection. Rolsyn likes to get involved with her customers and it is nice to see a small business in which the owner is so involved. She asked me a number of questions to make sure I picked the perfect anniversary present for my wife. I decided on a vintage diamond and sapphire band and my wife loves it. We will be sure to return.

I have shopped at Roslyn a number of times and have been impressed with her inventory of both jewelry and hats. Her store is beautifully laid out and well lit. Roslyn's taste is exquisite -- she found the perfect hat for my seven year old son (not easy!) who found her very friendly, and a fantastic Canadian made fur hat for myself. After telling Roslyn about my wife, she also picked out a necklace that my wife loves. I found Roslyn to be friendly, fair and knowledgeable .

I walked into Roslyn's shop a few days ago looking for a necklace for my mom. As I entered the store, I was greeted by three ladies who worked there and I immediately feared that as a lone guy who had no idea what he was doing, they would have me for breakfast. Instead, however, they were very nice. They showed me some very delicate pieces made of gold, silver, turquoise and other precious stones. For a such a cute, intimate shop I was not only very impressed with the wide selection of their necklaces, but also their hats, rings, watches, earrings and bracelets. I ended up settling on a turquoise and gold alternating chain with a large gold leaf pendant. And it was a hit. These ladies were very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend Roslyn, not just to anyone, but to everyone.

Following Roslyn's suggestion, I purchased a peridot ring. It was a fabulous choice. I am a psychotherapist, and the beauty, sparkle, and healing properties does wonders for me personally and professionally. I've received 100 compliments on my ring (as Roslyn said I would). I love the store, and plan to buy all my jewelry from Roslyn.

I recently shopped at Roslyn for my bridal party necklaces. I needed special pieces to match my bride's maid dresses(they are unusual colors). Roslyn herself helped me and she couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful. After I ordered the necklaces, I saw some of the reviews here and I got kind of nervous. To my relief, in one week I had all 3 perfectly beautiful necklaces and my bridesmaids love them! I will definitely shop here in the future.

I've been in the store quite a few times. The stunning hats in the window originally caught my eye. Once I got in the store, I was overwhelmed by the exquisite jewelry-such one-of-a-kind beauty and originality. The owner was so attentive and complimentary. I really didn't know what to purchase, but she treated me like a queen. It's a great place to discover things you never thought you'd buy and receive service that's personal and charming. If you're ever in the area, drop in.

The jewelry at Roslyn is absolutely magnificent, everything is so unique. I am complimented every time I wear my earrings and necklaces from her shop. Although my purchases are not super expensive, I have been treated with the utmost respect. And there are constantly new items; I love the store for gifts and myself!

As stated by other reviewers, the selection is great. However, a necklace of mine broke after 1 year of wear. I went into the store to ask for some help/advice and was treated with a complete lack of respect. I was told that the designer who made the necklace never fixes anything and that the store could do nothing to help me. Moreover, one of the older saleswomen made a snide comment to another...something about me bumping the necklace into a wall and breaking it! There was another comment about me not wanting to "spend a lot of money" on fixing the necklace. I was so totally turned off by the experience. Despite the nice selection, I don't think I could go back!

I feel SO much better after reading these reviews... I love Roslyn's jewelry, too, but I always feel so awful after I've been in the store. Roslyn is rude to customers and rude to her salespeople. She looks down at customers and has literally turned her back on me when I've asked about a piece in the window. I get way better service at Van Cleef (and elsewhere)... And while I CAN afford to buy Roslyn jewelry, I'm unlikely to be buying much at Van Cleef!

I've walked by the store a couple of times with my boyfriend and decided to check out the merchandise they had. I admit they do have a great selection of jewelry. What turned me off was the salespeople that worked there and Rosyn herself was extremely pushy and rude. Maybe that is her personality or her aggresive sales pitch but completely turned me off. I was extremely interested in some of her items but an interaction with her was not so pleasant and walked right out!
