While visiting NJ from Maryland over the weekend, we took a detour and drove into Manhattan in order to purchase a few items from Russ & Daughters as it was about to close. My wife ran in quickly from our car, followed by my cousin and her husband. Upon entering, she was offered to be served. At that moment, another employee appeared and requested that my wife, my cousin and her husband leave the store immediately since it was past closing hours. When he was not pleased with their pace, he demanded that they move faster.

The best dried fruit

This place has the best dried fruit I've ever had. There is a huge selection and the fruits are not the dry, hard things you buy in a bag at the grocery store. My favorite are the peaches. I've never even had the smoked salmon, but I go almost weekly for the fruit. They also make fantastic gift baskets.
