Best Eyewear Experience Ever!
By FrameGeek on 5/24/2011
When I get the NY "Best Of" edition I like to check the places our for myself and see if they live up to the hype. THIS PLACE HIGHLY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. The frame selection was amazing, and Jordan and Erik are really helpful. It was nice to hear someone who actually knew what they were talking about instead of those "eyewear consultants" at Lenscrafters whose main goal is to sell you as many pairs as they can without actually knowing anything about the frames. The fact that Silver Lining has their own line (which were really well made and designed) speaks volumes about their knowledge. If you can't tell I'm a little jealous being a "frame geek" myself. The frames in the store were a little pricey, but the quality and originality of the frames are well worth it. The interior of the store is really cool and I felt right at home. I would highly recommend checking them out. I bought a pair of frames from their line with my prescription and they were ready to pick up way sooner than I expected. Mark my words, once you have visited Silver Lining, you will never go back to those stores that sell cheap plastic crap.
Lovey shopping experience

I love the selection of brands that aren't seen at the average boutique. I've always gotten as much or as little attention as I require, and enjoy the quality and service provided by the staff. Great shop.
