I don't have outdoor space in my apartment, but this is the place I go to fantasize about what I'd plant if I did. Everything at this beautifully-maintained garden and home store is design-conscious and city-friendly, and just walking in the back garden on a sunny day is enough to inspire calmness, whether you have a green thumb or not.

Spout Home has by far the best selection of pots and containers around. Selection is special - design oriented, eco-friendly and there are a variety of sizes, colors and styles (not the bad plastic and/or washed out glazes that make up the selection at most places.) I live in Manhattan but was unable to find good looking pots and planters until I found this place, so now when it's repotting time I make the trip out there - also their prices are reasonable and sales-help are friendly and helpful. I'm an indoor window gardener.

The moment I stepped into Sprout Home to meet with Jennifer for a consultation, I knew Sprout would be perfect for my wedding. They're floral arrangements are just stunning and they use interesting, textural elements that really set them apart from other florists we had considered. I honestly can't say enough great things about them. Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with -- she looked at the photos I brought, but I left most of the major decision-making up to her. And I'm so glad I did -- the arrangements were absolutely perfect!
