late delivery and no customer service..... wouldn't recommend to anyone.

My husband and I are new to the US and NEEDED furniture. We had 2 sofas on our shortlist and decided on one at Stickley & Audi after being told it was in stock in CA and we would have it before the 'official 4-6 weeks'. No one called to give me any updates - I had to call their offices. The first time was told it would be 'dispatched soon' then 2 weeks later called again for an update to be told that it hadn't been dispatched as expected but was now due to be delivered beg January. Only a week or so over the est 4-6 weeks IF it does in fact arrive then. We are expecting people to visit over Christmas and don't have a sofa for them to sit on and thankfully bought 2 Barcelona chairs elsewhere. There was no apology for the delivery being over the 'official' delivery date and much later then the salesperson Elaine quoted when she said it would be with us before Christmas. Elaine hasn't contacted us since she took the order (I assume she forgot us as soon as she had her commission for the sale). I would never buy anything from Stickley and Audi again nor recommend them to anyone. As a first experience in the US where customer service is supposed to excel I have to say I am extremely disappointed.

LOVE this store. I cannot pass it without stopping in. Gorgeous furniture and wonderful sales people. I now own 5 spectacular pieces. Cheap? Not at all but you get what you pay for at Stickley. And then some.
Terrible customer service

They talk down to you as if they are doing you a favor. Very rude.
