I have had a dry and red eyes problem for a few months now. I mentioned it to Dr. Cassel during my last visit. He was very patient with me and took the time to explain the problem. He then recommended a special drop and to switch from contacts to glasses. Its been a couple of days now, and my eyes don't feel irritated anymore. So I would say I had a great experience with Dr. Cassel. His staff was very friendly as well. They helped me find a great pair of glasses that fit my face shape. I was a never an eyeglass person, but the pair they selected for me makes me feel really comfortable wearing glasses all day now. I highly recommend them.

I am a frames connossieur and originally from Europe, but just relocated to New York. I was walking down 49th street and stumbled upon Studio Optix and it is an absolute treasure!! Great service from a well-trained staff and an amazing selection of glasses. I was approached by Morgan, and he took especially great care of me. If you're in search of fabulous frames and service go to Studio Optix. I can't imagine anyone having a poor experience in this top-notch store.

After looking around at a lot of places, I'm completely sold on Studio Optix. They have the best frames in the city and great staff to help you choose the right one for your face. The doctors there is very professional and have the latest eye technology to make sure you get the right contact lenses and glasses prescriptions. He doesn't make a show of it, but Dr. Cassel has also helped scores of people with eye deformities. With great compassion, he listens to their stories and painstakingly prepares prosthetic contact lenses that restore their lives. In this world of chain stores and managed care, Studio Optix takes you back to the time of personal attention and care.

I have had the best experience of my life by going to Studio Optix. Dr. Casell and the entire staff have been so helpful to me. My eye sight has improved and I`m very grateful to Dr.Mitch Casell and to the entire staff. You really see courtesy and professionalism at this studio. That`s how good your eye sight becomes when you get your glasses!

I had my eye exam at this place and was so impress by the doctor. He does a lot of work for movie production for special eye effects/glasses and sees regular folks like me. I am so impressed in how thorough he was with me and his staff members helping me pick out a frame. I wear my glasses almost everyday besides contact lenses. I get so much compliments from wearing my new frames and haven't seen anything quite like it in other optical places. This place is truly unique for the selection they have.

I was in NYC for a 2 week vacation and unfortunately my glasses broke. It was suggested by a manager in the hotel I was staying in that I should go to Studio Optix and see what they can do for me. I was informed that my glasses were far beyond repair and since I was due for an eye exam anyway, I decided to see what the soonest apt was. Well, not only did I get an eye exam that same day, I was also able to get a brand new pair of fashionable specs within a matter of 2 days. They have a lot of high tech equipment and I was impressed on how knowledgeable and well versed the staff was. The frame selection is incredible and I loved the fact that someone sat down with me and helped me pick out frames that were suitable for me. Did I mention the great Christmas gifts I was able to purchase and bring back home? They have these lovely eyeglass trays. On my next trip back to NYC, I definitely plan on stopping by to get another pair of glasses!

Went to Studio Optix and loved the Eyeglass selection, staff and doctor. They have high tech equipments and I had a very comprehensive exam. My prescription has always been a challenge for most eye doctors, but they made me a beautiful pair of glasses that I get many compliments. They have many celebs as patients and I can see why they come there. Also, I was fitted with very comfortable disposable contact lenses and they even had the lenses in stock which made things very convenient for me. Highly recommend this optical store!

My girlfriend and I went to Studio Optix to get new glasses, and told the staff at Studio Optix exactly how much our insurance company was going to cover for each of us. They agreed, called our insurance company to verify the amount, then billed us for the remainder (which was high, but we paid it on the spot). Months later, they began billing us for an additional amount. I made numerous calls to Studio Optix and my insurance company to find out why we were being billed again. Studio Optix claimed that the insurance company didn't pay the full amount, but the insurance company explained the situation clearly and sent me all the records I needed. We were covered for $X, and Studio Optix billed them for $X+Y, so they rejected $Y of the total. I told Studio Optix this was their error; we and the insurance company had clearly communicated our coverage to them and if there was an additional charge, they should have told us about this extra charge up front. They repeatedly told me that wasn't the way insurance worked. I won't be back, I'd recommend you stay away too.
