This 70's inspired bakery is home to some groovy cupcakes and far out treats (threw in some 70's jargon...you're welcome). These two former Magnolia bakers joined forces to create an inviting and delicious bakery (and I personally like their cupcakes better than Magnolia). They have a variety of cupcakes with fun and whimsical names. But, after you grab a cuppie, you need to head over to the other window full of their puddings. The decorated cakes are by FAR the best and most creative in NY - no - the USA. Real artistry. I was at a wedding this fall and could not help but comment to the bride on the fantastic cake - what a coincidence when she told me it came from my favorite bakery!!!!

Granted, I've only eaten one of their cupcakes but it was so bad that I threw it away after one bite. They have a fairly broad selection of cupcakes to choose from but I went straight for the red velvet. As I walked down the street, unpeeling my cupcake, I was anticipating what looked like a delicious sweet treat. Unfortunately, what I found was a dry and flavorless cake topped with an overly sweet icing. Luckily, there was a garbage can on the next corner.
