MEAT HOOK - NO POINT

I walked from Greenpoint to Meat Hook hoping to find a good butcher. If I had had the time I would have walked out and got on the subway and gone on to a real butcher like Ottomanelli's in the Village. The Meat Hook was a disappointment. There are so many other things being sold or posed in some attempt to be hip that they missed the point: to be a butcher. The meat selection is not impressive and what little selection they offer is way overpriced. Don't waste your time.
