Order a pair of shoes over the Internet - store sent the WRONG/INCORRECT model! Quality control seems to be lacking. I also paid for "expedited" shipping price and the order took an inordinate amount of time (far longer than expected) to arrive. Buyer beware. So far the store has not rectified the mistake and I was forced to purchase the model from another store as I needed the shoe for a special function. Now, I'm stuck with one pair of expensive shoes (wrong model).

Having been a faithful costumer over the past five years for my three kids, I assumed it would be a formality to get a refund of a pair of shoes. My three year old daughter had worn them for 2 weeks but the shoes looked like they had been worn for a year. My first complaint in five years.... After a long wait the manager looked a the shoes and said they had been worn on the playground.....and she would have to check my history....and that they wouldn't be able to use my credit card info to pick up that history...so no refund. So no I won't go back, I will buy shoes for my kids online - and I will forever stop wondering why all the neighborhood shops close and the chain shop soar: Customer service is a clue.

I bought a pair of shoes for my daughter. Before I purchased the shoes I asked if they were returnable if they didn't fit ( I did not have my daughter with me ). The answer " No problem ". A couple of days later it was a huge problem. I brought the unworn shoes in the box with recipt back. I waited 1/2 hour just to have the manager insist that his sailsperson did not tell me that the shoes could be returned. He was down right rude and obstinate. The worst of New York.

For God's sake, get over your obsession with Manolo Blahniks, give your insteps a break and get up to Tip Top Shoes. They have nice-looking comfy shoes, all manner of boots and sandals, and best of all, salesmen who actually kow how to fit you so you say "Ahhh!" the first time you stand up in those new Tevas. Especially good for anybody with, um, untypically shaped feet -- but come on, aren't we all?
