I was very skeptical of the 34FF the saleswoman put me in. But after her bringing me about 10 different bras, fighting with her, and refusing to try on anything by Fantasie (sag city), I felt obligated to buy something from her. After wearing the thing twice, I'll be darned if she wasn't right. Note: the question below about going there for bargains isn't a fair question for large cup bras. You buy them where you find them; bargains are always few and far between. If I wanted cheap bras, I'd get breast reduction surgery.

Yesterday I went on my first shopping spree at The Town Shop. My boyfriend had given me a gift card (and not so subtly hinted that it was time to get new bras!) I was a little nervous as IÂd never before had a professional fitting, and I have to say I felt very comfortable with the young saleswoman who helped me. She was so helpful and patient - and I wish I could remember her name so I could properly credit her. I'm not accustomed to receiving such quality service when I shop, and I really appreciated it. I ended up getting three bras and some knee hi stockings, and depending on which ones fit best, I will go back in the near future for duplicates.

Good thing I measured myself before going there. The staff there refuse to measure people. I started to tell them I was a 36B and was looking for a bustier in the same size, but I was promptly corrected that bustiers have completely different sizing (Not true by the way!) and that I was a 32D! They slapped me in a room and handed me off at least 3 times before I could tell anyone what I was looking for. As I started to explain what I wanted to the sales woman, without saying a word, she pulled down my shirt and poked my breast and walked away. She did not listen to what I needed and brought me 3 wrong colors and styles before she got even close to what I asked for. They crammed me into a 32D and proclaimed they were right all along even though it fit horribly. I went to several other lingerie shops and got much better service and intelligent advice. Don't go to Town shop unless you are ready for a crew of intimidating, rude and incompetent sales women.

The townshop says they do custom fittings. The woman helping me looked at me fully clothed, and then asked me my size. Not exactly a custom fitting! They did have a wide selection and they ought to at the prices they charge. I'll go back only because it's in the neighborhood and they have bathing suit seperates.
