After rave reviews and status word of mouth, I found myself extremely overwhelmed at Trader Joe's on 14th street. I have never witnessed so many people fighting over so little food. 50% of the shelves were completely empty and over 200 people were elbowing and bickering at each other in a 45 minute line. To top it off, as we prepared a meal with baby spinach from Trader Joe's one night, we found a huge, fuzzy bug in the bag! It ruined our meal and perception of Trade Joe's right then and there (as we had used that spinach over the past few days). Despite the lower prices, it was not worth the effort, experience, and "added protein." Rest assured, we will never return. Reputation management should be welcomed.
