Jana at Veka Bridal was so awesome to work with! And I found the perfect dress! The boutique is gorgeous -- the store has large windows that allow in all this beautiful sunlight and overlook this incredible garden. This experience itself was also amazing. VeKa has a nice selection of dresses -- some bohemian, some more traditional. And you have the whole store to yourself during your appointment. I never felt rushed or pressured. And the tailoring was perfect! I seriously don't have one complaint. Definitely check out VeKa!
Lovely salon, the kindest sisters, wonderful service

Like the reviewer below me, I too have been to a number of the "name" salons in Manhattan and none rivaled Veka for service. Ksenia and Jana, sisters and owners, have amazing taste and understand what looks best on a woman. Their gowns are unique and high quality, and while not inexpensive, they are certainly very reasonably priced for the exquisite fabrics. Their seamstress is very professional and has a very keen eye. When I was uncomfortable about my gown being just a *bit too low-cut, she and the sisters immediately rectified the issue by contacting the dress designer and finding a solution together. Top-notch, wonderful and warm service from the loveliest ladies.

After looking at many of the big name stores, going to Veka was such a more personal experience. Their gowns are high quality and all custom made, unlike many of the bigger name designers. This was really important to me because I was not the same size on the top and the bottom. The ladies at Veka assured me that my dress would be made to my measurements because the dresses aren't mass produced. The dress I found was unique, sophisticated, and flattered my figure. I am so happy I found Veka!!
