Don't go to Western Spirit (Broome St.) if you want vintage cowboy boots. The salesman wanted to sell me vintage Lucchese boots for $225 which I thought was a great deal untill I got to the register. Being someone that likes to buy brand name boots (I checked for a label when I got to the register to pay) and the inside of the boot said Abilene Boots. When I asked the salesman why it said Abilene and not Lucchese he made some comment that it was just a town in Texas where the boots were made. He even pretended to call someone and ask. We passed on the boots and I will pass on Western Spirit as well in the future. I had purchased brand new boots from there previously but I no longer will from now on. I will pass this information on to anyone who cares so that they don't get charged $225 when the boots could have been sold for about $50.
