Cutler

Danielle Caputo

Caputo is all about giving hair a “natural, fuller appearance”; she’s worked with magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. Trials are $250; day-of styling is $350 for the bride and from $150 for others.

Devachan Salon & Departure Lounge Spa

Though they’re best known for their work with curls (not to mention their largely organic products), these pros can handle all hair types. Cuts and updos start at $100 each. (ecofriendly / good value)

Dov Salon

A veteran of runway shows (Chanel, Thierry Mugler, etc.) and magazines (Italian Vogue, Elle, et al.), Dov can do it all—he’s also known for his custom wigs. Consultations start at $250; day-of from $500.

Eliút Salon

The stylists at this salon specialize in extensions that last up to four months (from $1,500). Trials sans extensions start at $150; an eight-hour, on-location package with owner Eliút Rivera starts at $3,500.

Eva Scrivo

Fabio Scalia

Frédéric Fekkai

Bridal updos here are soft and understated; Fekkai also offers the Beauty Getaway package, a 115-minute treatment combo that covers all the necessities: manicure, pedicure, and bikini wax (from $115). Cuts start at $125, bridal updos at $325.

Garren New York

The stylists at this gorgeous salon are known for their versatility, but brides who want a classic look should book Jason Quinn; for an edgier, more retro do or for extensions, go to Manabu Unno. Consultations are $55; on-site styling starts at $260 an hour.

Graceland

Corvette Hunt, a master of old-school glamour, turns brides into modern-day Marilyns and Lanas at this motorcycle garage turned salon and tattoo parlor. (Hunt will also travel.) Consultations cost $100 an hour. Day-of services start at $700 for the bride and $125 for others.
