A Bridal Hair & Makeup Salon by Marina Vance NYC

Vance specializes in day-of hair extensions and Cinderella updos, complete with tiaras and jeweled hair clips. She’s done hair and makeup for Sarah Jessica Parker and Vanessa Williams. Hair and makeup trials are $175; day-of rates are $500 for the bride and $250 for each additional person.

Alex Anthony Salon

Alex Mnayarji and Allison Lacorazza’s team offers fresh looks for both modern and traditional brides. All others are $100 in-salon and $125 on-site.

Blowouts are the focus at this salon—although the stylists also do cuts, color, nails, waxing, and makeup. Wedding-day dos start at $150, and the Bubbles ’n’ Blow package enlivens a bridal party’s session with flutes of Prosecco (from $60). (good value)

Borja Color Studio

Head to this salon for natural-looking color overhauls. Cuts are $150; single-process color, $115; highlights, $175 to $275; bridal updos start at $150. Borja’s colorists also make house calls. (good value)

Courtney Benedetti

Benedetti brings her romantic red carpet looks to New York brides, specializing in soft updos and day-of extensions. Trials are $200; day-of package rates start at $600 for the bride and two others.

Cutler

These low-key salons are go-tos for highlights but also offer great updos (trials and day-of from $125). Bridal packages ($270 to $400) include makeup. (good value)

Devachan Salon

Known for their work with curls, these pros (who largely use organic products) do cuts and updos starting at $100 each. (ecofriendly / good value)

Dov Salon

A veteran of runway shows (Chanel, Thierry Mugler) and magazines (Vogue Italia, Elle), Dov is known for custom hairpieces that make any style look fuller. Consultations start at $250; day-of styling from $500.

Eliút Salon

The stylists here specialize in extensions that last up to four months (from $1,500). Trials sans extensions start at $150. Makeup from in-house pro Robin Narvaez starts at $320 on-site; trials are $160.

The stylists at this gorgeous salon are known for their versatility. Brides who want a classic look should book Jason Quinn; Manabu Unno handles edgier dos and extensions. Cuts and styling with namesake Garren Defazio are $705.
